Texas-Specific Car Accident Laws
Texas requires all drivers to carry minimum liability insurance of 30/60/25 under Texas Transportation Code §601.072. However, these minimums are inadequate for serious injuries. Texas also follows the 51% Bar Rule: if you are more than 50% at fault, you recover nothing.
